Course CATALOG | Warren Tech

One of my biggest yearly projects for Warren Tech was creating the program catalog. I project managed a cross-functional team, involving nearly every staff member, to gather all necessary content. I designed the entire thing in Adobe Illustrator (so fun!) and improved processes and systems related to production.

This specific course catalog was especially inspiring and challenging to produce, as it was the first year I used the rebranded identity set for the company. 

WEBSITE | WARREN TECH

I took Warren Tech's website through a complete redesign and overhaul, and the effectiveness of these changes has showed in the data. Traffic has increased and drop-offs have decreased. I did custom HTML and CSS coding, as well as integrated in external apps to improve end-user experience.

NEWSLETTER | WARREN TECH

Regularly communicating with existing stakeholders was one of my biggest priorities at Warren Tech. Current customers (students/families) were our biggest advocates and marketers, and the activation of monthly newsletters showed the community was hungry for information, with open rates averaging well above 50%. Campaigns were built in MailChimp.

MARKETING CAMPAIGN | WARREN TECH

As lead content creator and graphic designer, marketing strategist and communications director, I spearheaded and manage all of Warren Tech's marketing campaigns. This is an example from the application opening campaign, created in Adobe Illustrator. 

SOCIAL MEDIA | WARREN TECH

One of my biggest successes with Warren Tech was the increase in social media engagement. By actively pulling back the curtain on the organization, increasing access and awareness, I saw direct results in application numbers, which grew 41% YOY after my first year at WT. My 2nd year in my role, we received the most applications in the history of the organization. 

I built Warren Tech's Instagram from the ground up, and Warren Tech's LinkedIn and Facebook engagement grew over 100% during my tenure.

CLIENT WEBSITE

Teresa needed a comprehensive platform for her vast journalistic experience. I took on the task of helping her pull together all of the work she had created over the years. By organizing and streamlining the content, we were better able to highlight Teresa's accomplishments, and her work has picked up significantly since we finished this project.

EXPLAINER VIDEO

I drafted the script and designed the presentation for a much-needed 101 for Warren Tech. This has been an incredibly effective tool in marketing Warren Tech across other schools.

EMAIL CAMPAIGN | BIG HISTORY PROJECT

With the Big History Project, a product of Bill Gates Ventures, I dove deep into email and analytics. During my tenure, I curated and wrote hundreds of monthly newsletters to eight different audience segments for the Big History Project. I leveraged a mixture of repurposed and new content relevant to the needs of individual audiences.

I also created email campaigns targeted at new customers that was triggered by their progress in our training course. Other campaigns included welcome, standard promotional, and re-engagement campaigns to tens of thousands of subscribers. Campaigns were built in Microsoft Dynamics 365.

On the Employee Engagement Team at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, I streamlined staff communications across the company by creating process for departments to submit information and events for company-wide consumption. The Employee Engagement team distributed these internal communications in high-traffic staff-only spaces, as well as over email, creating a one-stop shop for the most relevant news to employees on a monthly basis.

Jeremy needed a basic and compelling elevator pitch to send to potential clients. They copy for this project underwent many, many versions to arrive to direct and succinct messaging.

I had the great privilege of designing all of the wedding content for my brother and sister-in-law's wedding. It was fun taking a break from my usual work that so often tied to a complex organization to serve individual clients.

ANNUAL REPORT | Denver Young Artists Orchestra

While I totally cringe now at much of the design, this was one of my proudest accomplishments for the Denver Young Artists Orchestra. I worked over several months to compile photos, achievements, and a design in Adobe InDesign. There was no one tool that comprehensively shared impact, and creating this allowed them to have a valuable tool to solicit new funding.
