DO GOOD, WELL.
Hi! I'm Rachel.
I started my career as a high school English teacher. Why does that matter? To start with, "Let's eat Grandma." is different than, "Let's eat, Grandma." Say it out loud. There you go. You got it.
Grammatically speaking, good is also different than well. We are all trying our best to do good, well. I believe in this phrase so much that it is the name of my business, the only tattoo I've ever considered getting, and my email signature since I was 19. Yeah, I like it.
There is nothing like starting your career with teenagers as your "clients." From them, I learned:
Planning is important, but not as much as flexibility
Gathering data and feedback is the best way to get buy-in, but only if you take action on it
If you have something to communicate, you need to do it multiple times, in multiple ways
Strategically-placed dance breaks are a cure-all for stressful moments
The classroom set the foundation for the rest of my career. I love my work so much, I offer consulting services in marketing & communications, project management, research & evaluation, and more.
Let's work together. I want to help you do something good, well.
RACHEL
